This matte zebra pedestal cubed lamp is carved from alabaster found in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico. The natural alabaster is formed over time from old seabeds causing the different layers and colors. The artist called this alabaster zebra for the dark and light color contrasts and variations.
